Since 1996, ZUVA has represented sculptors and painters carrying the contemporary African tradition — and carried their work far beyond the walls of a single room in Carefree. That a piece shown here has found a home in the Mandela Foundation is not a marketing line. It is provenance, and it is the standard the gallery keeps for everything on its plinths.

It is the same tradition that placed ZUVA's work in the Nelson Mandela Foundation, and it is what waits, quietly, on the plinths in Carefree.
